So, yes, I love watching Jim Cramer on Mad Money for analysis of the days market with a great dose of humor and interesting insight from this former hedge fund manager… who my mom noted seems to be slim and in great shape (unlike many financial folks) despite television usually adding a few pounds to people…

Well, tonight – tune in to CNBC for Mad Money *right now* because he’ll have Eric Schmidt (CEO of Google) on the show for an interview. Eric Schmidt was last on with Jim back in August, so this one should be as interesting…
Mr. Schmidt never fails to impress with his keen eye for emerging business opportunities and his vast business experience… he’s far more than the “old, trustworthy grey-haired” guy Sergey Brin and Larry Page hired for credibility back when the Google IPO happened in 2004.
WWW : Well worth watching…

Well as I mentioned earlier Google had released the Google Toolbar 5 but only for Internet Explorer a few months ago… FireFox were left running either one of the third party Google Toolbar or the official Google Toolbar 3.
Well, now, it’s official; Vladislav Kaznacheev of the Google office in St. Petersburg, Russia announced the official availability of Google Toolbar 5 for Firefox. Now, it’s important to note that it is a beta release, but I’m pretty confident that it’s relatively stable enough to at least try out.
Several cool new features – the one I like most is a greatly improved Autofill which now allows for multiple profiles (Robin @ work, Robin @ home) with different contact information saved for autofilling web forms.
Well, Michael Arrington is reporting over at TechCrunch that several inside sources at both Google and Digg are reviving the rumour mill that GOOG is digging Kevin Rose’s hugely popular (and often much-hated) Digg.com.
Apparently, the price is said to be in the $200M range…. and is within 2 weeks of being announced.
I’m surprised a bit at the dollar number and I think it isn’t so much for the intellectual property (err, Digg algorithms) but for the huge user base and very sticky audience that Digg enjoys.
Will Kevin Rose be moving to the GooglePlex?
Comme on dit en français: à suivre.
