A bit less than a year ago, I wrote about a limited time promotion where GoDaddy was offering .com domain name registrations for $0.99 … that offer is long over, but if you go visit that old article you can use that link to get .info domains for just $0.89 with no pesky coupon required.
I personally love .info domains – especially for a buck; is there any better possible investment? There are still many many .info domain names available, and registering them for less than $1 is a no-brainer.

Robin, have you used these coupons?
It seems “too good to be true”.
Sorry for the delay in responding, Barry. I’ve been trying to do it over lunches and evenings, but since being back at work pretty much full time, my lunch time’s sometimes get blurred with catching up on the latest tech news.
As for the GoDaddy coupons and promotions, I have used everyone that I’ve written about. I generally prefer to have hands on experience with any product or service that I recommend or write about. OK, I admittedly don’t have hands-on experience with the Mercedes AMG SL65 Black Series … but I did test drive an SL600 on a short track
There isn’t really a “catch” with the GoDaddy promotions; other than the fact that the renewal rate for domains will generally be at the full price (mind you, there are coupons that work for renewals too!)… that and having to deal with GoDaddy trying to upsell 101 different services as you try and navigate to the check-out page.
For the .info domains, there is no particularly coupon code needed; they’ll be USD $0.89 for the first year directly through the link in my article. If you order 6 or more .info names (in one order) the price drops even lower to $0.79 per name.
I think there’s plenty of potential for .info names, and there are quite a few major sites that have their primary web presence in the .info TLD.
Obama wins nobel peace prize. Why?
Hard to believe that a U.S. President can win a peace prize while engaged in two wars.
Can some one please inform me as to why Obama has gotten a Nobel Peace Prize when he has yet to do what he has gotten the prize for?
