04 Oct 08 A real-estate domain name even better than ForSaleByOwner.com ?

A quick glance back at some of the biggest domain name sales in the last few years, and I remember ForSalebyOwner.com domain name was sold for $835,000 several years ago during the dotcom boom. Back in 2006, Tribune Interactive bought the domain name and web site assets for roughly $150K according to most reports.

They’ve obviously built-up a decent business around it, offering 0% real-estate commissions and the domain is perfect for the business model.

But given the current real-estate climate, perhaps forsalebybank.com is a better prospect.
