It has acted funny since I installed it. If it did however remove some unwanted programs installed on my computer. Spyware and Addware. But when I click the Onecare Icon on the task bar it tells me that it has incured a problem and needs to close, then goes red. I am am also having these same issues with OneCare. I have done various virus scans and removed files and folders which have helped. Finally this morning it rebooted again and when it did I got the “Error: Service executable has encountered a problem and needs to close” message. This is the first time I have gotten this message. My tech guy said he didn't know what it is. I have been having this reboot problem for several weeks. but not with this message. He replaced a lot of parts and then said it's a waste of time and wants to give me a new computer. I don't want to have to go thru installing everything again. Are these problems related? I'm unable to validate it since I stopped getting that error message after a few days - perhaps an update to .net 3 framework. Also, I'm in the process of evaluating OneCare 2.5 (beta) so will post about that experience soon. @ Deepa
