Day 4 of Dell’s Days of Gaming Deals is upon us and it is still snowing nice white flakes here on the East Coast… ok, the Montreal area.
My fave today is probably Electronic Arts Need for Speed ProStreet for the XBOX if you have it. Again, the father (and proper German driver) in me says that racing is for the track and not the street so should we be providing street racing simulator games for our kids ? But I digress - It’s $39.99 down $15.
Also quite interesting is the Westinghouse TX-42F430S 42” 1080p LCD TV that is $300 off at $1400. The US / CA dollar gap is still not being reflected right. If you’re willing to head down to the USA you can find this LCD TV for about US $1000-1200. The reviews for this particular LCD TV, though not plentiful, are reasonably positive. I always say to carefully evaluate any TV or monitor purchase in person and with your primary content type. There’s not much point to buying a plasma or LCD TV because you were wowed by the Shrek demo when your primary content type will be African animal documentaries.
I suspect some of these Day 4 deals may sell out - they do now and then - … Black Friday is tomorrow!
The $399 and $499 console and game bundles on the XBOX 360 and PlayStation 3 are still there, and the superb $13 savings on the WII console
