Well, it’s launching in just a few days, but the iPhone has already been spotted in public. It was chasingfun who was quick with his Treo 755P handheld computer who snapped the pic on the CalTrain mass transit rail trip.
It’s being used by Mike Matas, an Apple employee who also has a pretty interesting blog. There is speculation about whether Mike will get in trouble at work for using his device wide open in the public … especially in the Valley where everyone is carrying at least one cellphone, PDA or real camera…
My guess is he won’t get any trouble for it - it may have been different if he was using it in public prior to the Steve Jobs launch a few weeks ago.
Now… if he lost it, that would be a different story!
